*Hoppers are those campers whose turn it is to help set the dining hall for meals. Lazy Time is a period of unscheduled activity when campers can hang out and talk or play basketball or tetherball in the central camp area. Campers are supervised during this time. Each day is busy and full, so be sure to get plenty of sleep before you come, and while you are here!
Registration is Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you are going to be late, please call us at camp: (585) 535-7381! Your child’s first meal at camp, supper, will begin at 5:30 p.m.
During Weeks #1-5 The last meal is Friday’s supper. You must pick up your child between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday. Campers remaining at camp after 8:00 p.m. will be assessed a $50 late fee
During Week #6 the last meal is Friday’s breakfast. You must pick up your child between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Friday. Campers remaining at camp after 10:00 a.m. will be assessed a $50 late fee.
Campers who are staying for another week must leave on Friday and come back to camp on Sunday. There are no staff members available at camp over the weekend.
Activity Descriptions:
Animal Care
Learn to care for animals in the Animal Science area at camp. There will be various barnyard animals such as chickens, rabbits, and others. Campers care for the animals, and are expected to help out with all animal-related chores.

Horsemanship Class
Campers learn how to care for and ride a horse properly. Riding instructors are experienced to teach campers of all levels. Children are matched with horses appropriate to their riding abilities. The fee for this program is $65***, and campers receive two class periods of riding and instruction. In addition to this, they have chores at specific times during the week. We are limited to 40 campers per week in the Horsemanship Class. This class is offered weeks 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Creative and Expressive Arts
We provide a variety of programs in fine art, including: arts & crafts*, comic arts, drama, drawing & painting, and musical production.

Water Fun
In our three-acre pond you can learn to kayak, canoe, swim or fish. Campers are tested for swimming ability before being assigned to the appropriate swimming group. We offer swim lessons and water games separately. Afternoon free swim periods offer additional chances to have fun and to practice your skills.

Sport and Recreation
Campers will participate in team sports such as soccer, basketball, kickball, and other games. Challenge yourself individually on our Archery range. Sessions develop skills as well as sportsmanship.

Science and Technology
This includes programs in rocketry* (build your own rocket and launch it), photography* (take pictures of your favorite things at camp and develop your pictures), and woodworking* (build a project from a kit and finish it the way you like). Specialty Camp programs give young scientists a more in-depth experience.

Outdoor Skills
Learn canoeing, fishing (bring your own rod and reel if available), hiking, nature study, gardening and outdoor living. Camp has special facilities for each of these activities and knowledgeable staff to conduct the activities in a fun and safe manner.

*If you choose woodworking, rocketry, photography, or arts & crafts, there is an additional $15 fee payable with camp application.

Counselor-In-Training
This is a great opportunity to learn and increase your leadership skills! Responsibilities increase each year as you gain experience.

CIT I - First Year CIT -Campers must be 13 years old.

CIT II - Second Year CIT - Campers must be 14 years old and have completed CIT I.
